Overview

Safety Kleen located in Fallon, NV is currently seeking a Lab Technician. The lab technician is responsible for the routine analysis of samples to determine their chemical and physical properties.

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 10am-6:30pm. Overtime and Saturday as needed. Flexibility to cover swing shift if other employees are out on vacation- as we are a small team.

Pay Rate: $24+ DOE

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Performs basic analysis of samples following prescribed procedures;
• Utilizes basic instrumentation;
• Completes all paperwork associated with the analysis in a neat and timely fashion;
• Ensures that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines;
• Performs cleaning and general housekeeping of work area.

Qualifications

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

• High School Diploma or GED Required;
• BS in Chemistry or related science not required;
• 1+ years of previous lab technician experience preferred;
• Valid driver’s license required;
• Experience with utilizing computer software preferred.
