Overview

The Director, Facility Maintenance is responsible for leading corporate and local facility resources in the implementation of the company Facility Asset Management Program. The Director will provide communication and direction on facility activities involving Maintenance, Critical Parts Inventory Management and Procurement. This position will also lead Facility Maintenance and Engineering resources to provide Preventative Maintenance, Repair and Capital Improvement Tasks to increase Asset reliability and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Leads efforts to move facilities onto the company Facility Asset Management program;
  • Leads facility efforts to standardize on maintenance practices based on industry standards and best practices;
  • Utilizes reports and KPIs to improve maintenance department efficiencies and increase asset reliability;
  • Provide and/or leads efforts to insure facility personnel are properly trained on FAM and maintenance procedures;
  • Supervises Facility Engineering staff.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience;
  • 2 years college with a focus on engineering or science required; Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial or engineering preferred;
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment and processes;
  • Excellent communication skills and works well within a team environment;
  • Knowledge of maintenance practices and engineering concepts;
  • Ability to travel 10%.
