The Opportunity

Safety-Kleen Breslau, ON is looking for a Class AZ Shunt Driver to join their safety conscious team! This individual will be responsible for operating and driving shunt trucks for various tasks within our facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Operate a shunt truck to move trailers within the facility for loading, unloading and or cleaning;
• Scale full and empty trailers to determine gallons loaded or unloaded;
• Perform scale checks to ensure accurate weights are obtained;
• Assist in assignment of trailers for cleaning, loading , or substituting as necessary;
• Maintain accurate record of trailers on site, including status and location.
• Operate a Vaccuum Truck when required.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ Driver’s License required;
• 2+ years of driving experience required with both manual and automatic transmission;
• Must be a self-start with previous shunt or over the road driving experience;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Knowledge of air and hydraulic brakes.
