The Opportunity

Clean Harbors Calgary, AB is looking for  High Pressure Operator to join their safety conscious team! This position is responsible for operating High Pressure Equipment and other Industrial Units to support client demands.

Please be advised it is mandatory for candidates to hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO safety certifications prior to starting this position. Proof of certifications will be requested during the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Responsible for set up and tear down of equipment;
• Maintains and cleans company equipment as required;
• Completes the proper documentation for the job using handheld units and/or paper documenting techniques, including pre/post trips;
• Responsible for maintaining daily logs, worksheets timecards, expense reports, dispatch & trip reports and vehicle inspection reports.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day);
• Class 5 drivers license required, 3Q driver’s license preferred;
• Minimum of 1-year commercial driving experience is preferred;
• Minimum of 1-year High Pressure operating experience preferred;
• Previous experience working with hazardous waste preferred;
• Willingness to travel up to a week at a time.
