Overview

The Opportunity 

The Wastewater Treatment Operations Manager is responsible for the effective management of area personnel, budgets, equipment and the customer base within territory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures are followed and maintained by employees; 
• Supervise employees and operations; 
• Build and lead an effective team;
• Meet budget requirements (revenue and field net);
• Duties will be approximately 70% office work and 30% field based;
• Must be able to respond to off hours calls and situations.

Qualifications

• High school combined with on-the-job industry-related experience is required (minimum 2 years);
• A Water Engineering Technology Diploma is preferred;
• Extensive wastewater experience (5 years plus);
• Level III Operator Certification in Wastewater Treatment preferred;
• Supervisory experience (minimum 2 years) required;
• Business and Entrepreneurial mindset;
• Exposure to Wastewater policies and procedures;  
• Minimum valid Class 5 driver’s license required.
