Overview

Our Clean Harbors-Synergy plant in Kingsland, GA is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. The Maintenance Mechanic will primarily focus on rotating equipment maintenance, laser alignment, pipe fitting, mechanical troubleshooting and rebuilding of pumps. 

Pay Range: $26.04-$34.58 DOE

Schedule: Mon-Fri- 7:00am-3:30 pm; OT as needed/Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Industrial maintenance repairs on plant/refinery equipment;
• Perform maintenance activities including, but not limited to: rotating equipment maintenance; pump rebuilds, pipe fitting, preventative maintenance, laser alignment, pump installation, vacuum pump maintenance (dry vac and liquid ring) and vibration analysis;
• Work with outside vendors as needed;
• Performs other duties and task as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors Business.

Qualifications

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• 3+ years mechanical aptitude required;
• Rotating Maintenance experience required;
• Experience rebuilding and aligning pumps is required;
• Previous experience working in an oil refinery, chemical plant, or other manufacturing plant like environment would be a plus;
• Mechanical certifications a plus;
• Knowledge of cutting and welding a plus;
• Project Management a plus.
