The Opportunity 

Our Delta, BC location is currently looking for a Class 1 Truck Driver (Industrial Driver) to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of hazardous waste from a generator/facility to a Clean Harbors facility and/or an outside disposal facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides high levels of customer service to new and current customers;
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; 
• Maintains daily logs, trip reports and vehicle inspection reports;
• Maintains and cleans assigned company equipment;
• Wear respirator for work; 

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license required;
• Previous experience with manual transmission is required;
• Previous hazardous waste related experience preferred;
• Previous experience operating Vacuum and/or Tanker is an asset;
• Valid safety tickets such as First-Aid, H2S Alive, OSSA are an asset;
• Must be able to travel 10-20% overnight throughout the year; 
• Must be able to complete a respirator fit test; 
• Must be able to wear a respirator for work;
