The Opportunity

Clean Harbors in Long Beach, CA is currently looking for Material Processing Technician to join their safety focused team! The successful candidates will be responsible for operating and maintaining centrifuge systems. This position requires travel away from home between 4-6 weeks at a time based off the project demand.

• Pay Range: $24 - $30 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Experienced working with centrifuge process either two phase or three phase Jenkins or centris unit is preferred
• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes;
• Operates centrifuges
• Maintains centrifuges
• Rigs up and rigs out dredging and centrifuge equipment;
• Performs general duties required to complete work, such as: debris removal, clean up, set up, etc.;
• Completes all required paperwork.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• Willing to travel overnight up to 75% annually;
• Driver's License is required;
• Experience operating Fork lift, front-end loaders, wheel loaders, or skid steers is an asset;
• Previous centrifuge operating experience is an MUST;
• Previous dewatering experience is an asset;
