The Opportunity

Clean Harbors Fort Saskatchewan, AB (Shell Scotford) is looking for a Class 3 Waste Driver to join their safety conscious team! This position is responsible for the transportation of non-hazardous/hazardous waste from a client site to our Clean Harbors facility or outside disposal facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Driving and operating one or more of the following units: front end load dump truck, roll off truck;
• If candidates have a Class 1 -trailer work may be required;  
• Completing the proper documentation for the job using handheld units and/or paper documenting techniques, including pre and post trip inspections;
• Completing minor vehicle maintenance;
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the unit;
• Providing high levels of customer service to our client base.

Qualifications

• Class 3 Driver’s License required;
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience operating front end load dump truck or roll off trucks is required;
• Familiarity with refinery / site settings is an asset;
• Safety certifications including: TDG, WHMIS, First Aid with CPR, H2S;
