Overview

HPC-Industrial, Powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Data Collection & Entry Clerk to work at a customer location in Arlington, TX and to join their safety conscious team! This team member is responsible Collect data relating to paint finish quality in an automotive manufacturing facility.  This includes part analysis and technical analysis of paint facility equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Industrial setting – Refinery, Petro-Chemical, Utilities, Pulp and Paper Mills, etc.

POSITION LOCATED IN:  Arlington, TX

WORK SCHEDULE:  Monday through Friday, overtime may be available.

Responsibilities

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collect data daily which includes defects in all paint layers and monitoring air/water quality.
  • Enter data into analytical software.
  • Review and analyze data with the team leader and assist with the implementation of countermeasures.
  • Maintain associated plant data boards.
  • Data collection will require a significant portion of the workday walking around the plant floor which includes stairs, ladders, and navigating other plant equipment.
  • Data collection will require entering paint booths and other equipment that contains paint and related debris.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

  • Use analytical problem-solving skills to complete required tasks while maintaining a high level of quality workmanship.
  • Maintain positive and effective communication with team members.
  • Take direction from the team leader and work with plant process engineers.
  • Present professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Follow all safety guidelines.
  • Accept work assignments that could require additional training to perform.  Any required training will be provided.

Educational Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and work with and around industrial equipment.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel a plus.
