Our Clean Harbors team in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking a permanent full time Project Manager to join the team! This position is responsible to supervise, schedule, coordinate and control the service and maintenance operations for our Industrial Services division. The Industrial Services Project Manager is tasked to meet schedules and cost projections for each project in order to meet optimum conditions of productivity, cost effectiveness, safety and ease of operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and scheduling chemical cleaning projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Plan operations to optimize facility efficiency with regards to operations, work force utilization, materials and equipment; 
• Interfacing and dealing with clients directly; 
• Track productivity for labor and material costs; 
• Ensure that the quality of work meets or exceeds established company guidelines; 
• Create schedules;
• Assign jobs and provide guidance and supervision to all employees assigned to the project; 
• Provide project progress and schedule reports to the Clean Harbors’ management group; 
• Ensure that all resources assigned to a job are readily available, and that employees are properly trained and equipped. 

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years management or supervisory experience; 
• Project Management experience an asset; 
• Minimum of 3-years Environmental experience; 
• Proficient in computer systems;
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
