Overview

Our Clean Harbors team in Grande Prairie , AB is seeking a permanent full time Field Administrator to join the team!

This position will oversee the administrative function of our Grande Prairie region.

The Field Administrator will act as a support function to the  team in order to improve overall quality of the business itself but support employee engagement on a local level.

This is a local, Monday to Friday position. The suitable candidate will reside locally within the Grande Prairie area.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Answering the and directing calls;
  • Accurate daily data entry;
  • Work in a field office occasionally for variable durations to assist with ongoing projects;
  • Entering and reconciling payroll hours ( weekly);
  • Assisting new hires;
  • Greeting all branch guests at the reception area, signing in visitors and providing a professional first impression to visitors;
  • Ordering office supplies.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role;
  • Ability to work away from Grande Prairie in field offices on project sites for variable shift durations;
  • Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office programs;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
