The Opportunity

Our HPC Industrial Port Arthur, TX location is looking for Hydro Blasting Technicians to join our safety focused team. The successful candidates are responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, high pressure water blasting, tank cleaning, hazardous waste clean-up in a refinery/plant-based setting. Position may require travel away from home up to 10% or 1 week at a time.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Performs tasks associated with hydro blasting and tank cleaning;
• Performs various labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift;
• Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights;
• Operates light and heavy equipment including: skid steers, forklifts, pressure washers. 

• Willingness to travel away from home up to 10% or 1 week at a time;
• Hydro Blasting experience preferred with 10,000-40,000 PSI High Pressure equipment;
• Experience with high pressure automated equipment & confined space is an asset;
• TWIC card required;
• Valid Driver’s License required;
• Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies;
• Ability to work on an on-call basis;
• Ability and willingness to work in a physically intensive role.
