Overview

The Assembler (Reconditioner) is responsible for assembling and reconditioning parts-washers, pumps, and lamps using various hand tools. This is an entry level position that requires minimal mechanical knowledge and ability to work well with little supervision. This role is first shift starting at 6AM.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Operates manual and electric/air powered hand tools;
• Dismantles and assembles various equipment such as: pumps, parts-washers, lamps etc;
• Keeps an organized and clean work environment;
• Performs other duties as required by management;

Qualifications

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

• Previous experience in a factory/assembly environment is an asset.
• Previous knowledge and experience with hand tools (drills, hammers etc.)/mechanical skills is an asset.
• Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
• Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies.
• High School diploma or equivalency.
