Overview

The Facility Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team to oversee maintenance and engineering for the facility as well as providing technical and supervisory oversight for facility operations. Maintenance and repairs on a variety of Industrial equipment, including but not limited to pumps, valves, hydraulic systems, and tank lines within an Industrial work environment. Responsibilities

  • Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Maintains contact with vendors, contractors, and internal departments, including facility operations, maintenance, laboratory, compliance, engineering, purchasing, and corporate accounting
  • Confers with Engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information
  • Monitors all standard operating procedures for maintenance and production and works to continuously improve SOP’s
  • Investigates equipment failures in faulty operation and recommends remedial actions
  • Implements regulatory compliance, including permitting, by resolving design and/or operational issues

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • B.S. Degree in Engineering preferred (Mechanical Engineering, preferred)
  • Related experience, such as operations engineering, project management or process engineering 
  • Industrial experience 
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports
