Overview

Job Title: Sr SQL Developer

Experience: 5-8 Years

Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad/Pune - Work from Office

Working Hours: 12.00pm to 9.00pm

Responsibilities

• Create database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, Triggers, Functions etc.
• Good in performance tuning especially tuning complex queries, procedure and indexing strategies
• Experience in Data Modelling, Database design and well versed with SQL Server best practices
• Review code and suggest necessary changes wherever needed
• Create Entity Relationship (ER) Diagrams to the proposed database
• May participate in multiple projects simultaneously as a senior development team member
• Communicate with DBA Team to find the root cause of problem in production environment & provide the fixes
• Communicate with other members of the team and the product team effectively.

Qualifications

• Min 5-8 years of experience in SQL Server programming.
• Experience in designing scalable data models.
• Good understanding of normalization principles
• Able to read and write advanced TSQL code
• Experience in using performance tuning tools like SQL plan explorer & Tuning Wizard.
• Experience tuning indices.
• Good understanding of transaction management.
• Excellent Problem-Solving skills.
• Experience with multiple SQL server versions (2012.2017) and awareness of new functionality offered.
