Overview

HPC Industrial Ponca City, OK is looking for Environmental Field Laborers, known internally as an Environmental Technician, to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with emergency response, hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials. This position may require travel away from home at times.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Performing emergency response activities including, but not limited to chemical and water spills, etiological and biological contamination, tank cleaning and equipment decontamination, etc.

Qualifications

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Valid Driver’s License is required;
• Due to the emergency response and operational nature of the position, it will require some on-call availability that will rotate;
• Available for overnight travel about 50% of the time.
