Overview

As an Environmental Field Services Equipment Operator for our Field Services team in Tualatin, OR, you will be responsible for picking waste up from a customer location and transporting it to a Clean Harbors location or other disposal sites making multiple stops per day. This position will be operating Vacuum trucks, Vactors, Roll Offs, and Water Blasters. This position will be responding to emergency calls for spills and will drive the equipment to the site and then doing the operating. Manual labor will be required for this job.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Waste pick up from customer locations utilizing Vacuum Trucks, Tankers, and Roll-offs;
  • Driving 70% of the time, Doing Labor 30%;
  • Drivers are responsible for loading and offloading their load
  • Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports 

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors? 

  • Class A CDL is required; 
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required or ability to obtain;
  • Roll-off driving experience is preferred;
  • Ability to travel at least 30 percent of the time
  • Ability to use a mobile hand held device
  • Previous manual labor experience is highly desired
  • Flexibility in schedule
  • Manual Transmission experience required
