The Opportunity:

Clean Harbors Norwell, MA is looking for an Inside Sales Coordinator who is a business knowledge consultant for our Pune inside sales team.  The Inside Sales Coordinator will provide strategies designed to reduce customer churn, develop new business growth strategies, prepare opportunity profiles for small and medium-sized customers, perform as the LOB sales expert, be a consultative sales mentor and a customer relations coach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work daily with our Inside Sales Account Managers (ISAMs) in Pune, India to develop profiles on existing opportunities
  • Research and understand our product lines and be familiar with its function and purpose to help ISAMs upsell customers to products that fit their needs
  • Provide guidance and reference materials to ISAMs
  • Train and coach ISAMs on the methodology to successfully work sales opportunities, provide training on multiple line of business, enhance communication skills, and provide ongoing support surrounding SKE/BPS products and services
  • Directly interact with customers assisting ISAMs on complex sales or customer service cases and/or escalations
  • Act as the key liaison between ISAMs and US-based branches, field account managers and customers
  • Assist ISAMs with resolving escalations and off-spec opportunities

  • Proven expertise in sales strategies, techniques, processes, and measurements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when working with internal teams and customers.
  • Self-starter who is driven to help others meet and exceed targets
  • Excited about developing inside sales reps to achieve repeatable success
  • Ability to think strategically and develop sound business decisions
  • Comfortable with mentoring, motivating and coaching ISAMs

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of related work experience with inside sales or customer service. International experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills along with leadership and organizational skills
  • Team building skills; candidate will have to train and develop individuals and sales teams
  • Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions
  • Computer skills: familiarity with Microsoft Suite, CRM and sales-related business software - Salesforce is a plus
