Job Description

The Opportunity:

Responsible for field EHST safety compliance, safety training/practices, OSHA compliance and conducting safety audits/job site inspections. May supervise one or more Branch Safety Supervisors and will work closely with Client safety representative and branch management to ensure adherence to Company’s safety policies and procedures

 Educational requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • College safety courses or safety certification (OHTT, CSST, CHST, COSS)

 Skills and experience:

  • Five (5) or more years of industrial safety experience, preferably in the industrial cleaning environment.
  • At least one of the following certifications: OHST, CSST, CHST, COSS.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements
  • Knowledge of company safety policies/procedures, industrial cleaning equipment and instant job hazard recognition.

 Essential duties:

  • Supervises one or more safety personnel
  • Works closely with the Director and Manager of Safety and the branch management
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental and operational policies/practices.
  • Conduct safety audits, job observations and incident / accident investigations.
  • Organize and conduct all safety and new hire training for the branch.
  • Interface with client safety representatives
  • Completes all reports and paperwork timely and in compliance with company and client requirements
  • Work turnarounds at client sites day, night and weekends as needed.
  • May coordinate the Substance Abuse Program testing
  • May coordinate employee injury related tasks
  • Steward and coordinate the loss prevention process
  • Case Management
          • Patient Care
          • Clinic Escort / Hospital Presence
  •  Lead in       Incident Management
          • Case Management
          • Notifications (Internal & External)
          • Enter/Manage in Compliance Now Database
  •  Assist       Supervisor with Investigation
          • Fact Finding
          • Root Cause Analysis
          • Final Report
  • Coach/Mentor       Manager on LPS Activities
          • Engage Frontline with JLA Reviews
          • Engage Frontline with LPSA Checks
          • Review/Observe the LPO Process
          • Participate in Manager Stewardship Meeting
          and provide guidance
          • Complete V&Vs and QRs
  • Support Branch       Manager with Employee Training Matrix:
          • Site Orientation
          • Site Specific Training
          • Annual Medical Testing
          • Supplied Air, Confined Space, etc.
  • Support Branch       Manager with DOT Drivers:
          • Create DQF Files
          • Manage DQF Files and correct driver
          • ELD Logging and Verify Driver is compliant
