Clean Harbors [Martinez, CA] is looking for a Foreman IS to join their safety conscious team! Our Field Service Foremen oversee personnel, equipment, materials, and supplies to ensure assigned projects are implemented in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Field Service Foremen perform a wide range of tasks, including:  
  • Planning and preparing personnel for their roles within projects;  
  • Organizing all the resources required for successful project completion;   
  • Working with the Field Service Coordinator in the allocation of personnel, equipment, and other resources;
  • Preparing and submitting project status reports and ensuring contractual obligations are met;
  • Completing, communicating, and executing change orders before any additional work is performed;
  • Accurate and timely submission of required paperwork;
  • Actively developing direct reports through regular discussions about performance feedback, development opportunities, and career planning;
  • Timely reporting of all work-related accidents and incidents. 

 

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent;
  • Prior experience in performing excavations and heavy equipment operation;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Prior supervisory experience a plus;
  • Prior Marine Spill Response training and experience in Environmental Service operations preferred;
  • Ability to pass both a written and practical competency exam
  • Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.
