The Opportunity:

Clean Harbors Tooele UT is looking for a Class A Driver to join their safety conscious team! As a Class A Driver you will perform duties associated with picking waste up at a customer location and transporting it to a Clean Harbors location or other disposal site. This position requires 2-3 days of weekly overnight travel with weekends home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Picks up waste from customer locations utilizing vans  
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste;
• Properly secures the loads;
• Guarantees placarding of vehicle to meet Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations;
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• Class A CDL is required;
• Ability to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsement upon hire;
• Previous Van experience is required;
• Ability to operate a manual transmission is required;
• Ability to travel overnight weekly.
