IS Machinist

Equipment Operation: Assisting with the operation of machine shop equipment, such as CNC machines, manual mills, routers, and various saws, cutters, and presses.
Shop Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining the shop floor, machines, and equipment.
Light Fabrication: Assisting with basic fabrication tasks, such as deburring, grinding, and buffing.
Quality Control: Checking parts for defects and ensuring they meet quality standards.
Assembly: Assisting with the assembly of components.
Documentation: Reading and understanding work instructions and shop orders.
Safety: Promoting safety practices and adhering to safety protocols.
Other Duties: Performing other tasks as assigned, which may include inventory control, part identification, and material organization.
