The Facility Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a non-hazardous waste consolidation and bulking facility, including the handling and processing of contaminated soil, wastewater, various non-hazardous waste streams and materials.<br><br>The position does not currently include supervision or management of other employees but may do so in the future.<br><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5;</li><li>Annual compensation of $60,000 - $70,000;</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment;</li><li>Group 401K with company matching component;</li><li>Own part of the company with our Employee Stock Purchase Plan;</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career;</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement;</li><li>Positive and safe work environments.</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li>Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;</li><li>Manages the day-to-day operations of the TSDF, including the consolidation, bulking, storage, and disposal of non-hazardous waste materials such as contaminated soil, wastewater, latex paints, rags, and other related waste streams;</li><li>Performs daily facility and operational inspections to ensure safe and compliant operations;</li><li>Maintains all required compliance documentation, including waste profiles, manifests, and other applicable paperwork;</li><li>Performs waste manifesting and coordinates the shipment of outbound waste in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures;</li><li>Coordinates and oversees subcontractors performing work at the facility;</li><li>Remains hands-on with facility operations, including forklift operation, overseeing the wastewater process, and supporting other operational needs as required;</li><li>Schedules outbound waste shipments to maintain appropriate inventory levels and maximize available storage capacity;</li><li>Performs routine inventory counts and maintains accurate inventory records;</li><li>Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment;</li><li>Works both in the office and in the field as needed based on department needs;</li><li>Includes physical labor, routinely lifting objects, operating forklift, skid steer, and mini excavator as needed;</li><li>Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><strong>What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required;</li><li>3+ years experience in waste coordinator role or similar;</li><li>Waste profiling and shipping experience preferred;</li><li>Knowledge of Federal, state and local environmental regulations, including RCRA;</li><li>OSHA Training and experience.</li></ul><br>Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.<br><br>Clean Harbors is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.
