{"tool":"get_job","result":{"requisitionId":"165451","client":"Clean Harbors Corporate - USA","title":"Facility Operations Supervisor","description":"The <strong>Facility Operations Supervisor</strong> will be responsible for the supervision of plant personnel and operations, such as operation of distillation equipment, product mixing/blending, sampling/loading/offloading tanker trucks and rail cars.<br><br><strong>Weekend Shift</strong><br><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment</li><li>Group 401K/RRSP with company matching component</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement</li><li>Positive and safe work environments</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li>Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;</li><li>Performs multiple site-specific plant operations, including, but not limited to, drum pumping, tank transfers, tanker truck and rail car sampling/offloading/loading in compliance with DOT requirements, operation of distillation equipment and scanning applications for waste tracking;</li><li>Supervises multiple Solvent Process Operators and Tanker Truck /Rail Car Loaders/Unloaders and plant operations;</li><li>Ensures that employees follow and maintain all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures, holds employee's accountable;</li><li>Ensures that supervised operations/employees understand and have ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards;</li><li>Works under the direction of the Plant Operations Manager or equivalent;</li><li>Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment;</li><li>Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>High School or equivalent </li><li>3+ years supervisory type experience in Shipping and Receiving</li><li>Experience managing larger teams preferred</li><li>Strong leadership skills</li><li>Ability to streamline and improve processes</li><li>Must work well under pressure and pivot as needed</li><li>Excellent communication skills written and verbal</li><li>Strong documentation and organizational skills</li><li>Computer literate</li><li>Proficient MS Office Suite - Word, Excel and Outlook</li><li>Proven problem solver</li><li>Excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Able to review all applicable standard operating procedures (SOP's) annually and score satisfactorily on quizzes.</li><li>Proficiency in Windows based applications.</li><li>Knowledge of scanning applications, EOM scanning SOP's, VPI / Pick sheets</li><li>Proficiency in multiple site-specific plant operations.
