{"tool":"get_job","result":{"requisitionId":"165399","client":"Clean Harbors Corporate - USA","title":"Truck to Truck Supervisor","description":"<strong>Clean Harbors in Baltimore</strong> is looking for a <strong>Truck-to-Truck Supervisor</strong> who will be responsible for assisting the dock manager and overseeing the transfer of all waste, packages, or products directly from inbound trailers to outbound trailers with minimal storage time. They will lead daily cross-dock and freight transfer activities, ensuring shipments are unloaded, sorted, and reloaded safely, accurately, and on schedule. The supervisor assists the TTT Manager in coordinating personnel, equipment, and transportation schedules to maximize productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.<br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Supervise truck-to-truck loading and unloading operations.</li><li>Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements.</li><li>Ensure freight is transferred accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Monitor dock activities to minimize delays and improve throughput.</li><li>Prioritize shipments based on delivery schedules and customer requirements.</li><li>Direct and support team leads, forklift operators, and loaders.</li><li>Assign daily workloads for TTT Hub based on incoming and outgoing loads</li><li>Conduct shift briefings and communicate operational goals.</li><li>Train employees on safety procedures and operating standards.</li><li>Monitor employee performance and provide coaching as needed.</li><li>Enforce OSHA, DOT, and all CHESI safety regulations.</li><li>Conduct safety inspections and dock audits.</li><li>Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events.</li><li>Ensure proper use of PPE and material-handling equipment.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment.</li><li>Verify freight counts and shipping documentation.</li><li>Monitor freight for damage and report discrepancies.</li><li>Ensure proper load securement and trailer utilization.</li><li>Maintain shipment accuracy and prevent misloads.</li><li>Track operational metrics and service levels.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><strong>What does it take to work at</strong> <strong>Clean Harbors?</strong><br><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent required;</li><li>Must be 18 years or older;</li><li>1+ Years of related experience;</li><li>Fork lift experience preferred (Not Required);</li><li>Ability to use computer;</li><li>Ability to lift 50 or more pounds;</li></ul><br><strong>Clean Harbors</strong><strong>,</strong> a Clean Harbors company, has a commitment to excellence deeply rooted in a strong sense of tradition.
