RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all personnel related functions for maintenance employees including, but not limited to, hiring, firing, and performance appraisals
- Performs Preventative and/or project maintenance planning
- Supervision of all maintenance employees and shifts
- Oversee contractors
- Inventory management
- Research and manage projects
- Acts as an assistant to higher-level maintenance personnel on larger, more complex maintenance activities
- Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard and Operating Procedures
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
What Does it Take to Work for Clean Harbors?
- 3 years of leadership experience
- 3 years plant maintenance experience in one of the following areas preferred: preventative maintenance, installations, welding, electrical, pipefitting, heavy equipment mechanics, hydraulics, I&E and/or planning
- Inventory and purchase ordering experience
- Familiar with compliance and regulations
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including movements such as lifting, bending, reaching, climbing, and the manipulating and handling of objects
