This position primarily operates a forklift to offload, palletize, and reload materials while supporting transportation efficiency, accurate documentation, and compliance with applicable storage permits and safety requirements.<br><br><strong>Shift:</strong> 3:00 PM-11:00 PM<br><br><strong>Shift Differential:</strong> $1.75 per hour<br><br><strong>Pay: </strong>$22.50<br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br>Responsibilities<br><ul><li>Safely offload, palletize, stage, and reload waste materials using a forklift.</li><li>Coordinate incoming and outgoing loads between hubs, plants, and other outbound destinations.</li><li>Support transportation efficiency while ensuring compliance with facility storage permits and operational requirements.</li><li>Dispatch transportation from hub locations as needed.</li><li>Assist with tracking manifest return timelines and required documentation.</li><li>Maintain accurate information in the Hub Database, Outlook, and Hub Management systems.</li><li>Inspect and handle containers according to company procedures and applicable safety and environmental regulations.</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.</li><li>Safely climb on and off forklifts and operate equipment throughout the workday.</li><li>Move drums weighing up to 800 pounds with a drum dolly and flex bins weighing up to 1,500 pounds with a pallet jack.</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br>Qualifications<br><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Zero to three years of related experience.</li><li>Forklift training and experience required.</li><li>DOT and RCRA training required.</li><li>Current 24-hour or 40-hour OSHA training and applicable annual refresher training required.</li><li>Proficiency with Windows-based computer applications.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds from the ground to waist level.</li><li>Ability to frequently bend, climb, reach, squat, stoop, and perform repetitive hand and foot movements.</li><li>Ability to climb vertical ladders and safely enter and exit forklifts.</li><li>Good hand-eye coordination, depth perception, peripheral vision, and color recognition.</li><li>Ability to tolerate loud industrial work environments and hear machinery, vehicle alarms, and other safety warnings.</li><li>Ability to travel less than 10%.</li></ul><br>Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.<br><br>Clean Harbors is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.
