The ERTS Project Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring that all jobs performed for a specific client, or groups of clients are properly scoped, quoted and executed safety and efficiently to meet the clients' expectations. This role also provides the full range of project management, and supervision required for the successful performance, and completion of projects. We are solving tough problems through innovation and proven methodology - come be part of the solution with us. <br><br>Why work for Clean Harbors ? <br><br>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5! <br><br>Focus on maintaining sustainability and cleaning the Earth <br><br>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment including 401K with Company match <br><br>Own part of the company with our Employee Stock Purchase Plan Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career <br><br>Company paid training and tuition reimbursement<br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br>&bull; Responsible for the project management of emergency spill response management. <br>&bull; Responsible for managing all phases of spill response including, working directly with clients to ensure a timely successful spill cleanup, regulatory compliance, with client with safety and cost effectiveness in mind. <br>&bull; Create and manage remedial work to include development of Scope of work, Development of Request for quote (RFQ) validation of quotes received to assure the most equipped and best contractor response is awarded to assure a complete closure of the incident. <br>&bull; Accurately log information from client interactions into ALERT systems; update in a timely and accurate manner so that clients can track services inquiries and resolution. <br>&bull; Review analytical results to ensure compliance meeting specific state/province requirement and accomplish site closure. &bull; Submit initial written, electronic, and intake reports to regulatory agencies. <br>&bull; Manage proper disposal of all waste. <br>&bull; Audit all subcontractor work orders/invoices for accuracy. <br>&bull; Input correct information into the ALERT system, including use of correct grammar and spelling, accurate selection of all appropriate categories, and addition of any notes or comments pertinent to the contact and/or contact record. <br>&bull; Providing and maintaining excellent customer service and satisfaction. <br>&bull; Ensure all DOT, OSHA, safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site-specific safety plans are following throughout cleanup activities. <br>&bull; Ensure that all client SOP's and special instructions are performed and are compliant. <br>&bull; Communicate effectively to contractors, clients, regulatory officials, etc...., through both written and verbal communication. <br>&bull; Return all internal and external calls, emails, and facsimiles in a timely manner to ensure that client concerns are understood, addressed and resolved in an efficient and complete manner as possible. <br>&bull; Maintains professional competency in all aspects of the job. &bull; Relays emergency and non-emergency information to personnel in the field along with feedback on contractor. <br>&bull; Perform other job-related duties as required. <br>&bull; When necessary, answers a multi-line telephone system for emergency and non-emergency calls for clients, screen, and transfers calls, in a high-volume phone environment. <br>&bull; When necessary, complete phone screenings and assist clients in obtaining needed paperwork, SDS, from other providers and facilities. <br>&bull; Report to Sr Mgt any items of concern as relates to client or contractors' expectations <br>&bull; Efficiently log \"Billable Time\" on a daily basis, in accordance with company guidelines and activities completed<br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br>- 3 to 5 years' experience or alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. <br><br>- Valid Driver's License <br><br>- Leadership and supervisory skills <br><br>- Excellent communication skills <br><br>- Excellent presentation skills <br><br>- Knowledge of scoping/pricing of Field Service work <br><br>- Knowledge of equipment, environmental regulations/statutes, safety and compliance <br><br>- Field service operations experience <br><br>- Excellent interpersonal skills. <br><br>- Proficiency in Windows based applications <br><br>Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.<br><br>Clean Harbors is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.
