Utilizing drum grabbers, a safe work mentality, and scanning material. Understanding of the following processes and a strong teamwork mentality.<br><br><strong>Shift: 1st shift 7am-330pm (Mon-Fri) some weekends when needed</strong><br><br><strong>Pay: $23</strong><br><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Competitive pay and benefits</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment</li><li>Group 401K with company matching component</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement</li><li>Positive and safe work environments</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career</li></ul><br>Work Environment: <br><br><ul><li>Industrial warehouse and waste processing facility</li><li>Facility handles hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams</li><li>Exposure to strong odors associated with waste handling operations</li><li>Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and manual labor activities</li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis</li></ul><br>Must be able to work indoors and outdoors as operational needs require<br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Handle, sort, move, and process hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials</li><li>Perform waste container handling, staging, labeling, and inventory activities</li><li>Load and unload materials and containers in accordance with company procedures</li><li>Inspect containers and work areas to ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements</li><li>Operate equipment and tools as trained and authorized</li><li>Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the facility</li><li>Assist with facility operations and general labor activities as assigned</li><li>Lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials, containers, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds</li><li>Follow all company, OSHA, DOT, EPA, and site-specific safety requirements</li><li>Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing job duties</li><li>Work safely in an industrial environment with exposure to strong odors and waste materials</li></ul><br>This position requires the use of company-provided PPE, which includes respirator, safety glasses, protective gloves, protective footwear, additional PPE as required by task or work area. A respirator fit test is required and is completed during the pre-employment physical examination and drug screening process.
