The VP will lead all aspects of the industrial services lines of business within the assigned district, with full accountability for safety, quality, financial performance, and operational execution. For more information, visit www.cleanharbors.com.<br><br>Clean Harbors offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including:<br><ul><li>Competitive annual salary</li><li>Opportunities for growth, development and internal promotion</li><li>Health, Dental and Life Insurance</li><li>401k, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off</li><li>Company paid certifications, licenses and training</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.</li><li>Establish strategies, budgets, goals, targets with input from members of the business management team for Board approval and strive to meet or exceed the same.</li><li>Provide leadership and direction to the management team and employees.</li><li>Represent the Company appropriately as circumstances dictate and advocate and be an ambassador to company decisions and directives.</li><li>Take the lead role in developing and implementing the company's industrial services strategy.</li><li>Provide leadership, direction and support for industrial service opportunities in other organizations within the company.</li><li>Lead the business management team in establishing and monitoring the Company's business plan including the setting of goals, objectives, and action plans required to meet the Board approved strategies and budget.</li><li>Prepare performance planning and review forms as necessary and work in accordance with this plan to develop and mentor managers and employees.</li><li>Adhere to Company policies and work requirements.</li><li>Responsible for developing and maintaining a good relationship with all customers and ensuring a good line of communication with the customer regarding potential jobs, current job status, and job progress.</li><li>Direct the utilization of personnel and equipment to service customer requirements and comply with internal metrics.</li><li>Ensure that all tools, equipment, and machinery are maintained in accordance with the Company's preventative maintenance program and the physical facility properly.</li><li>Ensure the accounting practices are adhered to by the region.</li><li>Comply with all human resources (personnel, safety, health and environmental) policies, procedures, laws and regulations, including SOP's, AP's, Personnel Manual, OSHA, EPA, and DOT; execute projects assigned in a safe, efficient, and profitable manner.</li><li>Direct the marketing efforts of the region including customer relations, price quoting, resolving problems, signing of contracts, invoicing, and customer job evaluations.</li><li>Analyze the relevant market as a basis for forecasting utilization and pricing.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all of company's metric requirements including but not limited to: transportation compliance, asset management and cost saving initiatives.</li><li>Ability and flexibility to take immediate travel action to support our team or customers throughout the District.</li><li>Responsible for the overall growth within the district across all of our lines of business.
