You will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner.<br><br><strong>Why work for Safety-Kleen ?</strong><br> <br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Focus on maintaining sustainability and cleaning the Earth.</li><li>Competitive wages; Starting at $19 an hour based on experience</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment including 401K with Company match.</li><li>Own Part of the Company with our Employee Stock Purchase Plan</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career</li><li>Company paid training and tuition reimbursement.</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and acting in a safe manner always.</li><li>Unload and reload route truck;</li><li>Reload route trucks with supplies and equipment for next day's runs</li><li>Ensures all waste and containers are in acceptable shipping condition and organized for transport to recycle or distribution centers</li><li>Conduct inventory count and reconciliation</li><li>Verify, receive, stock, and organize product</li><li>Pick, package, and ship outbound orders</li><li>Operate heavy material handling equipment such as forklift and pallet jack</li><li>Load and unload trucks with various equipment and by hand</li><li>Coordinate transportation for outbound shipments</li><li>Local deliveries when needed</li><li>Move trailers or trucks within the yard</li><li>Housekeeping in the branch (painting, picking up trash, sweeping, cleaning, straightening)</li><li>Assist other business units</li><li>Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements</li><li>Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures</li><li>Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li><li>Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><strong>What does it take to work at Safety-Kleen?</strong><br><br><ul><li>High school diploma or GED;</li><li>Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity;</li><li>Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements;</li><li>Reliable transportation required for local travel between facilities.</li><li>Strong communication skills;</li><li>Problem solving skills;</li><li>Intermediate computer skills with applications such as Microsoft Office - <strong>Excel and Outlook experience required</strong></li><li>Ability to work with waste labels, manifests, and load sheets;</li><li>Forklift experience required</li><li>Experience in a warehouse environment preferred</li></ul><br><strong>Safety-Kleen,</strong> a Clean Harbors company, has a commitment to excellence deeply rooted in a strong sense of tradition.
