This position primarily serves Thomasville and the surrounding areas, averaging 55+ hours per week.<br><br>While this is a local driving route and most evenings are spent at home, candidates must be flexible with scheduling. Occasional overnight travel may be required, and drivers must be willing to participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support emergency response operations when needed.<br><br><strong>Pay: Starting $25</strong><br><br><strong>Hours: 5am-5pm (Mon-Fri)</strong><br><br><strong>About this Role:</strong><br><br><ul><li>You will assist with loading/unloading, securing gates on the dump trailer, tarping loads, and ensuring no debris or contaminated material escapes during transit.</li><li>Operating End Dump Trailers: You will be responsible for backing into tight customer sites, staging, and safely operating the hydraulic lift mechanisms to dump materials.</li><li>Unstable Terrain: Landfills are notorious for shifting ground, deep mud, and hidden debris. You will need strong backing and maneuvering skills to position a 53-foot articulated trailer onto unpaved, soft trash cells or liner areas without getting stuck or damaging the tires.</li><li>Tire Hazards: Puncture hazards (nails, metal shards, sharp rocks) are incredibly common.
