The<strong> Supervisor</strong> will be responsible for overseeing operations and processing of waste at the Baton Rouge facility. This person will oversee 5-7 employees and help contribute towards successful waste handling at this facility.<br><br><strong>Pay: </strong>$28-34/HR- DOE<br><br><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm; OT and weekends as needed<br><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5;</li><li>Competitive wages with weekly overtime opportunities;</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment;</li><li>Group 401K with company matching component;</li><li>Tuition reimbursement;</li><li>Positive and safe work environments;</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career.</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensure that employees follow and maintain all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures;</li><li>Holds employees accountable;</li><li>Ensure, understand and have ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards;</li><li>Develop daily production goals for multiple groups and ensures execution;</li><li>Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment;</li><li>Review all applicable standard operating procedures (SOP's) and scores satisfactorily on quizzes;</li><li>Understand and drive Clean Compliance standard;</li><li>Perform multiple site-specific plant operations such as, drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, truck offloading/loading in compliance with DOT segregation requirements, wastewater treatment, fuels blending, Shredder operations, Inventory and Waste Tracking scanning application, and Proper warehousing requirements;</li><li>Oversee and manage multiple areas and shifts within the facility;</li><li>Supervise and develops multiple Operations Supervisors, Plant Foremen and plant operations;</li><li>Ensure proper waste routing and management according to specified efficiencies;</li><li>All other duties as directed by management.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required;</li><li>Wastewater treatment experience preferred or experience in an industrial hazardous waste facility overseeing teams;</li><li>Supervisor experience is required;</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment;</li><li>Time management is required;</li><li>Computer proficiency is required;</li><li>Previous industrial work setting is required.</li></ul><br>Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer. <br><br>Clean Harbors is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.
