You will be responsible for receiving, sampling, and unloading all inbound bulk shipments of used oil by railcar, trucks, and at times working in confined spaces. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Sample all inbound rail cars, trucks, and trailers of used oil
- Prepare the sample, submit for lab analysis, and enter data in the UNIX computer system for tracking and accounting
- Unload rail cars, trucks and trailers into the used oil receiving tanks
- Operate branch trucks and track mobile to position for unloading
- Perform daily inspections as required by environmental permits and MARSEC (USCG) requirements related to Homeland Security
- Acts as a switchman for rail switches. Tests, LOTO and prepare equipment for repairs
- Fill out permits
- Organize and maintain truck and rail unloading areas
- Other duties as required
