We are solving tough problems through innovation and proven methodology - come be part of the solution with us.<br><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Focus on maintaining sustainability and cleaning the Earth </li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment including 401K with Company match</li><li>Competitive pay range of $130,000 with a 30% bonus opportunity</li><li>Own part of the company with our Employee Stock Purchase Plan</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career</li><li>Company paid training and tuition reimbursement</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner</li><li>Develop and manage regional budgets and business plans that align with corporate targets and goals.</li><li>Establish targets and goals for Branch Managers and ensure budgets and business plans are established and managed.</li><li>Monitor performance, implement strategies and action plans to manage and address issues partner with internal departments and stakeholders (i.e. Health and Safety, Transportation Compliance, Human Resources, Finance, etc.) for counsel and expertise and to ensure compliance with policies and legislation.</li><li>Work collectively with other \"Pillar\" managers to maximize the performance of all CHES opportunities.</li><li>Monitor and actively manage the performance of all branches within the region - KPI's, safety metrics, incidents, new business prospects, revenue achievement, regulatory compliance, etc.</li><li>Partner with internal departments and stakeholders to remove roadblocks and increase efficiencies.</li><li>Prepare business reports and information for senior management. Analyze trends, formulate recommendations and identify business risks and opportunities. Identify strategies that can be actioned and implemented.</li><li>Monitor and actively manage the performance of all branches within the region - KPI's, safety metrics, incidents, new business prospects, revenue achievement, regulatory compliance, etc. Partner with internal departments and stakeholders to remove roadblocks and increase efficiencies.</li><li>Ensure Branch Managers are actively managing to foster a high performing team culture, committed to safety, excellence and development. Partner with HR, Training, Safety, Transportation. Compliance to ensure programs and resources are utilized and value is achieved.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>Seven-ten years of field management experience and three years of hazardous waste and DOT experience required</li><li>Experience in creating and understanding budgets including analysis and creation</li><li>Excellent computer skills with applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to maintain effective professional relationships while leading/mentoring in a team atmosphere</li><li>A team player, with the ability to be a collaborative team member and supportive leader</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner</li><li>Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills </li><li>Leadership experience</li><li>Perform physical functions per job requirements</li><li>Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position</li></ul><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong><br><ul><li>Established networks and recognition within the industry</li><li>Industry knowledge and/or experience</li><li>Experience in financial capacity is a plus</li></ul><br><strong>Clean Harbors Technical Services</strong><br><ul><li>Waste Disposal - Comprehensive disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste at Company-owned facilities</li><li>Recycling Services - Extensive recycling, reuse and reclamation options for materials such as solvents, chemicals, oil and electrical equipment</li><li>Chemical Packing - Safe, efficient handling and disposal of the widest range of chemicals, including reactive and compressed gases</li><li>Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Services - HHW collection programs of all types and sizes, facilitated by Clean Harbors expert personnel </li></ul><br>Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer. <br><br>Clean Harbors is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.
