This role involves working at multiple customer sites, supporting blasting operations, operate and maintain high-pressured water blasting equipment and strong communication skills The<strong>Hydroblast Technician </strong>will represent <strong>HPC Industrial</strong>and maintain positive relationships with clients and customers. <br><br><strong>WORK SCHEDULE: Rotating shifts, days, nights. OT as needed</strong><br><br><strong>EXPERIENCE WITH: Hydroblasting, Vacuum Trucks, Warehouse/Manufacturing, General Labor, Production and Industrial Field experience a plus BUT NOT A REQUIREMENT!</strong><br><br><strong>Why work for HPC-Industrial:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment</li><li>Group 401K with company matching component</li><li>Own part of Clean Harbors with our Employee Stock Purchase Plan (U.S. Only)</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement</li><li>Positive and safe work environments</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><br><ul><li>Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times</li><li>Hands-on operation of manual and automated hydroblasting equipment</li><li>Operation of special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps</li><li>Operate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and/or any specialized Hydroblasting and/or Chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment being used on the job</li><li>May be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations</li><li>Conduct routine and required maintenance on the unit and all peripherals, including industrial vacuuming equipment and the disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials</li><li>Perform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the job</li><li>Tools, equipment, & large machinery used such as industrial cleaning equipment and vehicles</li><li>May periodically use computers for training purposes.</li><li>Working conditions: outside work, extreme temperatures, noisy conditions, shift work, flexible schedules, on-call hours, 24/7 availability.</li><li>Physical effort required: Heavy lifting, working with large machinery, confined spaces, and heights.</li><li>Travel required: Regular overnight travel will be required for this position.</li><li>Additional duties as assigned.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><br><ul><li>Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities</li><li>This position includes emergency response, a continuing condition of employment is agreeing to be on-call; on occasion working on weekends and holidays will be required; emergency response situations can extend beyond 8 hours, up to 12-24 hrs.</li><li>Perform physical functions per job requirements</li><li>Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs</li><li>Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations</li><li>Valid driver license and other requirements of company's driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business</li><li>OSHA certification may be required for this job</li><li>Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers</li><li>May have to provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).</li></ul><br><strong>About HPC</strong><strong>Industrial:</strong><br><br><strong>HPC Services</strong>, a Clean Harbors company, is the leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
