This position will require a strong background in warehouse operations, with experience in truck-to-truck, cross-docking, or other high-volume, fast-paced distribution environments preferred. This individual will be a hands-on, results-oriented leader who can effectively manage multiple departments while ensuring operations remain efficient, accurate, and on schedule.<br><br><strong>Shift: 1st shift</strong><br><br><strong>Pay: $75 - $85K</strong><br><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority, and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Competitive pay and benefits</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment</li><li>Group 401K with company matching component.</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement.</li><li>Positive and safe work environments</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Manage and oversee daily electronic dismantling, shedder operations to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met</li><li>Supervise, train, and develop dismantling staff, including assigning work, monitoring performance, and enforcing company policies</li><li>Ensure proper dismantling, sorting, and handling of electronic equipment in accordance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements</li><li>Maintain compliance with company-specific standards, including, but not limited to Maryland/City permits, OSHA, R2 (in process of being established), and EPA</li><li>Monitor workflow and labor efficiency; adjust staffing and processes to meet production goals and deadlines</li><li>Coordinate with upstream and downstream departments (receiving, logistics, data destruction, recycling, and sales) to ensure smooth material flow</li><li>Track inventory of dismantled components and materials; ensure accurate documentation and reporting</li><li>Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve safety</li><li>Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented</li><li>Ensure proper use, maintenance, and availability of tools and equipment used in dismantling operations</li><li>Enforce data security procedures when handling data-bearing devices</li><li>Monitor scrap yields, recoverable asset value, and disposal costs to support financial performance</li><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management</li><li>Support onboarding and cross-training of employees to maintain operational flexibility</li><li>Address employee issues, coach performance, and collaborate with General Manager, Directors, VPs, and HR on disciplinary actions when necessary</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><strong>What does it take to work at</strong> <strong>Clean Harbors?</strong><br><br><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent required;</li><li>Must be 18 years or older;</li><li>5-7 yrs of related experience;</li><li>Fork lift experience preferred (Not Required);</li><li>Ability to use computer;</li><li>Ability to lift 50 or more pounds;</li></ul><br><strong>Clean Harbors</strong><strong>,</strong> a Clean Harbors company, has a commitment to excellence deeply rooted in a strong sense of tradition.
