Mostly focused on water technology;</li><li>Primarily responsible for proposal preparation, including cost estimates and work scopes and schedules;</li><li>Acts as an agent of business and is involved with developing relationships with key customers and understanding our customers' concerns and priorities;</li><li>Provides engineering and technical support to field service offices;</li><li>Provides technical support to Clean Harbors field service offices;</li><li>Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business;</li><li>With support of office management team, assist with procurement for projects including materials, equipment rental, temporary labor, and subcontractors;</li><li>Provides timely, concise and relevant information to superiors and subordinates;</li><li>Provides technical support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates and subcontractor selection and procurement;</li><li>Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in civil or Geological engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Sciences or related disciplines preferred;</li><li>5+ years demonstrated Project Management experience in environmental remediation preferred;</li><li>Cost estimating experience and ability to develop and present Project Change Orders;</li><li>Ability to review and interpret technical specifications and drawings;</li><li>Strong customer management skills;</li><li>Knowledge of Federal and State regulations governing remedial sites;</li><li><strong>Valid Driver's License and acceptable MVR required; </strong></li><li><strong>Active Hawaii Contractor's License required;</strong></li><li><strong>Ability to pass federal level background check after hire, DBIDS. If this is not cleared it is possible that the result will be termination;</strong></li><li>Ability to travel as needed around Hawaii and to other parts of the United States/Global.</li></ul><br><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong><br><ul><li>Ability to walk, stand, sit for extended periods, pull/push, carry, grasp, reach, crawl, stoop, crouch, and balance;</li><li>Navigate varying site conditions, including steep slopes and rugged terrain;</li><li>Ability to lift 50 pounds;</li><li>Requires speaking, listening, understanding, and writing English; color determination, depth perception, clarity of vision, and 20/20 eyesight (corrected or uncorrected);</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment and personal appearance.
