The <strong>LDAR Technician </strong>identifies, documents, and tags fugitive emissions (gas leaks) from industrial components like valves and pumps, ensuring compliance with EPA regulations. They use specialized equipment-such as Toxic Vapor Analyzers (TVAs/Method 21) or Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) cameras-to monitor, report, and facilitate repairs in refineries, chemical plants, and oil/gas sites. The role is physically active and often involves traveling to remote sites or working within complex, loud industrial environments. It is described as a detail-oriented, sometimes repetitive, but critical role for environmental protection.</li></ul><br><ul><li>Must be able to wear protective clothing or equipment.
