{"tool":"get_job","result":{"requisitionId":"150190","client":"Clean Harbors Corporate - USA","title":"Corporate Facilities Manager","description":"The Property Manager is responsible to manage contractors, projects and vendors servicing The Specified Property, including overseeing the functioning of all building systems such as electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire/life safety, elevators, landscaping/snow removal, building security, and janitorial, developing energy conservation programs, site efficiencies, and negotiating contracts.<br><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment</li><li>Group 401K/RRSP with company matching component</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement</li><li>Positive and safe work environments</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Must be able to communication effectively with all stakeholders and influence others beyond direct sphere of control Oversee the function of all building systems such as electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire/life safety, elevators, landscaping/snow removal, building security, and janitorial.</li><li>Regular Inspections (Monthly/Quarterly/Annually) of the mechanical systems, electrical systems, fire systems, roof systems, and critical infrastructure to ensure all systems are running at an efficient standardsPrepare annual budgets for building expenses.</li><li>Obtain bids, negotiates pricing and selects contractors for multiple projects at multiple sites </li><li>Monitor/track project performance to specifications </li><li>Write purchase orders for services and maintenance and approves payments </li><li>Manage contractors and vendors servicing </li><li>Maintain building cleanliness and aesthetics </li><li>Support preparation of annual budgets (Operational and Capital) with local managers</li><li>Working closely with the Director of Property Management to monitor sites for potential problems and works to mitigate any risks</li><li>Understands the functioning of all building systems such as electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire/life safety, elevators, building security, and janitorial</li><li>Communicate appropriately with Local Operations Managers and Director of Property Management, through written and verbal communication </li><li>Keeps appropriate people informed of site by site project progress, complete weekly Status Reports, participates in weekly Property meetings</li><li>Maintains a positive, professional demeanor</li><li>Assist where applicable in acquisitions, decommissions, corporate initiatives, strategic projects and branch consolidations</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><strong>What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><ul><li>BS in Facility Management, Construction Management, Business or Engineering</li><li>7-10 years' experience in facility management </li><li>Preferred experience with LEED and ENERGY STAR rating system.</li><li>Knowledge of construction, maintenance, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other building systems required</li><li>Knowledge of State, Provincial and Municipal building codes and regulations required.</li><li>Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Budget preparation, and cost benefit analysis;</li><li>Knowledge of when to use contractors due to time or cost considerations.</li></ul><br><strong>Join our team today! </strong>To learn more about our company, and to apply online for this exciting opportunity, visit us at<br><br><strong>Clean Harbors</strong> is the leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
